Excellent! The service is very friendly and the food lives up to its reputation as a traditional bar. The beer was cold and the prices were reasonable. Feijoada dumplings, pumpkin dumplings with dried meat, pork rinds, and curd pies with red onions. The highlight is the feijão amigo na tigela (R20), which is very well seasoned and served with pork rinds and a sprinkle of coriander.

Boteco do Pedro is one of the best bars in Lapa. It has cold beer, delicious pork rinds, well-made okra, delicious dumplings, and very well-filled pastries. The service is very good and the customers are treated well. In fact, it is well-frequented by people who also treat the workers well, as it should be.
